Latch-Gard LG140D is a 2-1/2 x 10 inch latch guard for out-swinging doors. The steel plate covers the latch area so the latch bolt cannot be retracted. Made in the USA.

  • Model: LG140D
  • Plate: 2-1/2 in wide x 10 in high, 12 gauge steel, 0.105 in thick, two square holes
  • Finish: Duronodic powder coat
  • Mounting holes: 7-1/2 in center to center
  • Door: out-swinging, 1-3/4 in thick
  • Lock: rose or escutcheon 2-3/4 in or smaller. May also be used with some electric strikes
  • Handing: reversible for right or left openings
  • Install: drill two holes in the door
  • Hardware: two 5/16-18 x 1-1/2 in carriage bolts with SF710 tamper-resistant flush fasteners
